In the Sanctuary of my Soul

Music and Images for Inspiration and Reflection

In the Sanctuary of my Soul is an inspired project on a number of dimensions. Cathy Dean’s musical compositions are drawn from, and based upon, her reflections on the essence of sacred and classical writings across many cultures and traditions. Her original music is put to texts as varied as those from the Old and New Testaments, the Vedic scriptures of ancient India and the writings of William Shakespeare. Alongside twelve artists who were invited to interpret these same texts in their chosen visual media, In the Sanctuary of my Soul offers the reader, and listener, a unique and rich basis for reflection.

While their children were growing up she continued her piano studies and gained an LTCL in piano teaching.
